The San Saba Garden Club is hosting a guest event this Tuesday, February 4th, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the historic Garden Club House located inside Mill Pond Park. Members and guests will be treated to a program featuring guest speaker, John Begnaud, retired Tom Green County Extension Horticulturist of Tom Green County (1975-2008).
Begnaud’s many credentials include horticulture broadcasting since 1975, ranch owner/operator since 1981, pecan orchard owner/operator since 1980, natural resource and environmental consultant 1990 to the present, commercial nurseryman and greenhouse grower from 2007 until 2011, and adjunct instructor in Soil Science at Angelo State University from 2008 until 2014.
