| Mark Scott |
| Mark Scott is a singer, song-writer, producer, and
engineer and owns NLM Music Studio &Publishing
Company. He has over 40 years experience in the
music business. Mark has recorded 14 singles and
2 albums, and has written songs that have been
recorded by other artists including; a member of the
Country Music Hall of Fame, Hank Thompson.
During the Summer Boot Camp, Mark will be
offering recording sessions. |
| Debra McIntire |
| Debra McIntire has over 30 years experience teaching Dance, Cheer & Gym to boys and girls ages 2 to Adult. Debra holds 6 teaching Degrees and is certified to Judge. She attends annual Workshops and Conventions to continue her education in Cheer & Dance. Gary & Debra operated a Studio in Del Rio, TX for 24 years and then moved to the Highland Lakes Area to be closer to their kids and grand kids. They opened Stars Academy in Marble Falls in 2003 and in Llano in 2004 and in Kingsland in 2005. She offers regular classes for the kids that want to have fun and learn to dance, tumble and do cheer. She offers competitive classes for the more serious students. Debra teaches all of the classes in: Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Clogging, Lyrical, Cheerleading, and Gymnastics. |
| Melanie Smith |
| Melanie Smith will conduct classes in theatre games and advanced acting for Performance Talent. She holds a BA degree from Rice University and an MA from Howard Payne University. Certified in six teaching fields, including Theatre Arts, her studies emphasized the works of Shakespeare and other important playwrights. She has also studied theatre at the University of Texas. Mrs. Smith has been involved in UIL One Act Play since 1973, both as a director and as a judge. A Life Member of the Texas Educational Theatre Association, she has presented numerous workshops for TETA and other groups, both for theatre teachers and for teachers in other fields. In 1990, she was named TETA's “High School Teacher of the Year.” Mrs. Smith will lead students in creative approaches to acting using theatre games. Students will learn a variety of ways to expand their skills and their appreciation of the craft of acting. |
| Misty Rae |
| Misty Rae is an associate voice teacher for vocal coach to the stars, Renee Grant- Williams (Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood). Misty Rae moved to Nashville in 2004 to attend Belmont University and pursue her music career. By the time she was ten, she was writing her own material and performing at various Texas venues, eventually opening for country music legends such as Ray Price, Bill Anderson and Don Williams. Misty has been writing with some of Nashville’s finest songwriters (Rick Giles, Georgia Middleman, Robert Ellis Orrall). In 2010, Misty was the grand prize winner for Puckett’s Rising Star Songwriting Competition in Franklin, TN. In 2010, Misty began offering KidsVoiceClinics for children. This fun-filled workshop allows each child to have the opportunity to learn by observing the other attendees as she works with them. |
| Gary Talley |
| Gary Talley began his career as lead guitarist for the Grammy- nominated group, The Box Tops. Their "blue-eyed soul" hits like "The Letter," and "Cry Like a Baby" hit the charts like a tornado, selling millions of copies, and they continue to sweep across the country on radio stations today. The Box Tops disbanded in 1970, but their reunion nearly 30 years later in 1997 was kicked off with a national tour at the House of Blues in Hollywood. Gary still tours and records with the group, contributing original songs and background vocals. Gary soon found himself playing with music carbuncles like Jerry Butler, Billy Lee Riley, Hank Ballard, and Ace Cannon at the legendary Sounds of Memphis Studio and later at Universal Studios also in Memphis. |

Kay Lynn Scott
|
| Kay Lynn Scott has owned the Performance Talent Studio for over 20 years, where she teaches vocals, acting, and pageant skills. For five of those years she was a licensed talent agent. Her students and clients have appeared in feature films, mini series, made for TV movies, commercials, music videos, print work, and won state and national competitions and pageants. Kay has managed several performance groups, as well as solo artists. She is currently a talent scout for Talent America based out of New York and NY-LA-Nash Entertainment based out of Nashville, TN with offices in LA and NY. |
