The Secret Garden Tour, sponsored by the San Saba Garden Club, is today from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available at the Wedding Oak Winery, JC Campbell Co & Mercantile, and the Garden Club Clubhouse in Mill Pond Park. The 12 venues include 10 private homes as well as two downtown businesses, Wedding Oak Winery and the JC Campbell Mercantile Co. A plant sale will also be held at the organization’s clubhouse located in Mill Pond Park.
All proceeds will go to the San Saba Garden Club Scholarship Program as well as various community outreach projects sponsored by the organization.
Again, keys will be sold on the day of the tour. However, due to popular demand, the organization will allow the pre-sale of tickets with the understanding that there will be no refunds if weather scrubs the event, since there will not be a make-up date. The Garden Club tour will be held this year in conjunction with the annual Catkins’ Ball held in Risien Park on Saturday evening, April 25th.
